There is a choice of a full Scottish breakfast or continental
breakfast served in the Artist's Studio with views of the prize winning garden and the River Tay estuary. Art lovers can meet resident artist John Stoa in his studio where he creates his paintings and runs his Dundee art classes.
John uses colour to great effect in his dramatic snow paintings and stunning romantic and sensual figurative art.
Wifi - Fast Internet Access
Wifi is available in all rooms to allow full internet access to all guests with their own laptop. The Wifi is fast and reliable and is proving very popular.
The guest house has four rooms available.
Downstairs there is one south facing en-suite double room with lovely views of the river Tay and another single room overlooks the rock garden, shrub roses and the robinia frisia which is a perfect small garden tree giving Anna's Garden a splash of vibrant colour from poppies from Spring to Autumn.
Upstairs there is a double room and one twin room, both sharing a large bathroom adjacent.

Breakfast in the Artist Studio

The breakfast room faces south with panoramic views over the River Tay and into the Kingdom of Fife towards the Lomond Hills.
Two large studio windows overlook the mature garden with all year round colour framed in a landscape rich with an excellent selection of small garden trees, and an abundance of flowers and fruit, trees and shrubs. Anna shows her garden on this link to the Scottish garden, and in her spare time she can be found in the greenhouse and garden cultivating fruit, including the new saskatoons, flowers and vegetables on the City Road allotment gardens.
Self-catering Accomodation in Dundee
Self catering accomodation is more suited for long term guests who stay for a week or longer. The self-catering option allows full use of the kitchen and facilities including the washing machine and drying areas.

There is ample off-street parking in the large drive at the front of the guest house.

Original Paintings and Prints
Local artist John Stoa has his art studio on the premises and always retains a changing selection of over 50 original paintings on the walls. All guests are welcome to enjoy his gallery of romantic pictures, Scottish landscapes, snow paintings and figures.
A selection of John's paintings can be viewed on a video compilation created by fellow romantic Scot, Andrina Lejon, now living in Canada, and set to music on You Tube at Scottish Art.
These paintings and his limited edition prints are available to purchase for guests at a 10% discount to website price.
Art is an excellent investment in times of economic recession.
