There are four rooms available for bed and breakfast or as self-catering accommodation for guests staying a week or more. This friendly B & B welcomes holiday guests, tourists or professionals on business or pleasure.
The west end location is perfect for incoming visitors to Dundee University, Ninewells hospital, the Dundee Technology park, and the Scottish Crop Research Institute (SCRI) in Invergowrie.
Located just off the Perth road the Scottish Artist Studio is ideally placed for those taking Scottish winter holiday breaks or walking the Angus Hills. The luxury double ensuite with its fantastic panoramic views over the River Tay and beyond to the Lomond hills is hard to beat for a romantic break.
All rooms are cosy and comfortable with central heating, double glazing, television and ample storage space. The double bedroom has a computer desk for business professionals, the single bedroom a large table as does the double en-suite room which also has fantastic views south across the River Tay to Fife.
Wifi internet access is available in all the bedrooms.
The other bedrooms overlook the fruit and flower garden.

Breakfast in the Artist Studio
Breakfast is served at a time to suit Anna's guests. It is carefully prepared and includes a choice of cereals, porridge, juices, stewed or fresh fruits in season, sausage bacon and egg and lots of toast with homemade jams and marmalade. Fresh brewed coffee and tea at breakfast, and a tray in your room with tea/coffee and Anna's homemade shortbread biscuits.
Suggested arrival time is between 4pm to 6pm. Please telephone 01382 665879 in advance if you are going to be later than the agreed time.
Departure is by 10.30am.
Non smoking and no pets please.
There is ample off street parking in our drive at the front of the Scottish Artist Studio.
Original paintings and limited edition prints by resident artist John Stoa adorn the walls in most rooms in the accomodation and are available to purchase at studio prices. John has many more paintings on display on his website at www.johnstoa.com which has full information on size, medium, framing and price.
John is happy to offer all guests to Anna's Scottish Artist Studio a 10% special discount on all paintings and prints. The Scottish Artist Studio shows many of John's new paintings around the rooms before they go out to gallery exhibitions.

Double En-Suite Room
A lovely double room en-suite which has a large south facing window with wonderful views over the River Tay towards the Lomond Hills in the Kingdom of Fife.
This panoramic view is constantly changing with the weather and different boats sailing down the river as well as small planes constantly landing at Dundee Airport.
This room will create the perfect setting for the romantic getaway or Scottish winter holiday break.
The large room has been recently refurbished and has a sitting area, dining table and chairs, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities with Anna's homemade shortbread provided.
For guests who would like bed and breakfast and partial self-catering they may use the large modern kitchen to prepare a picnic lunch or evening meal.
Double Room Upstairs
A very comfortable double bedroom overlooking the fruit garden full of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, apples, plums, peaches, pears and blackberries trained along the fence.
Nearby is a long season display with a herbaceous border in front of the patio.
The room has a colour tv, tea making facilities, desk/dressing table and use of an adjacent sunny bathroom with bath and shower.
Bed and breakfast, part or full self-catering facilities provided.
Single Room Downstairs
A single bedroom which was recently refurbushed, it is warm and comfortable and facing east catches the early morning sun. It looks onto a changing display of spring and summer bedding plants and bulbs, then later the scented shrub roses and climbing roses put on a fantastic show.
It has a large mirrored fitted wardrobe, large table and chairs, and a colour television. It is adjacent to a shower room fitted with an extra large shower cubicle.
Bed and Breakfast with partial or full self-catering is an option.
Twin Room Upstairs
A large twin bedroom overlooks the fruit garden.
This bedroom has a large wardrobe unit with two bedside cabinets, a colour television, and use of an adjacent sunny bathroom with shower and bidet. It is ideal for a professional person looking for a very comfortable place to stay whilst working in Dundee.
The option of self-catering is offered with full use of the kitchen, and utility room laundry facilities for those who may not wish full bed and breakfast.
